Let's talk about the Patriots

5-0 heading into a Sunday Night matchup with the Pats.

This should be a good one, men.

In his two games with Patrick Chung covering him, Kelce has the following performances:

2017: 5 rec for 40 yards with 0 TDs
2015: 6 rec for 23 yards with 0 TDs

For a total of 11 rec for 63 yards with 0 TDs. Yikes.

When the Chiefs are on offense they are at the top of converting third downs with the Patriots defense is one of the worst at giving up third down conversions. So the red zone argument clearly favors the Chiefs.
Those offensive stats include games where our top 2 WRs were Hogan and Dorsett/Patterson. Completely different offense now.

Teams don't need to convert 3rd downs on your defense if they're always converting on 1st or 2nd down. You've allowed the most 1st downs of any defense in the league.

Since starting Gordon, we're averaging 38 PPG and 444 yards per game, and now we've added Edelman to the mix as well. More importantly, we've moved the ball efficiently and are incredibly hard to defend at every level.

lol @ this clown using stats that include games with Hogan and Patterson as our top 2 WRs.
LOL @ citing two games vs bad defenses as proof that you're the best offense in the league.

We're playing a bad defense this week, though. Not just a bad defense, but the worst in the league.

Unfortunately this troll is correct on these statements.

Berry has been a huge waste of money and Brady does get the ball out fast.

What does Alex Smith have to do with Patrick Chung's perfect coverage against Kelce, and against other TEs? He was the #2 ranked strong safety in the league last year.

11 teams have allowed more points. Lot of garbage time stats against the Chiefs in 4th quarter with big leads.

Patrick Chung is the best TE coverer in the NFL but evidently Belichek is too dumb to realize it since he decided to let Chung go do something else while the Colts TE's ate New England's defense alive.

Teams don't need to convert 3rd downs on your defense if they're always converting on 1st or 2nd down. You've allowed the most 1st downs of any defense in the league.

It’s a good thing then that Patriots are in the bottom half of the league in their number of first downs made. And no it isn’t a different offense. Brady’s arm is looking pretty weak. He short armed quite a few balls against the Colts. That TD pass to Gordon was a duck being defended by a guy brought up from the practice squad that day.

Could Chung cover Gronk? 1v1? Careful how you answer that
