Let's talk about the Patriots

5-0 heading into a Sunday Night matchup with the Pats.

This should be a good one, men.

But I'm certain you're going to have some excuses if the Chiefs win, though.

Bill Belichick failed to stop Andy's offense in Week 1 last year and then got run over again in the Super Bowl against the same offense with an inferior QB.

I'm sure now he has the magic wand though against the most talented QB in football.

Again, heard the same bullshit from several other fan bases. One of my good friends is a jets fan and after their first game this year when they dominated the Lions, guess what he said? JETS ARE WINNING THE SUPER BOWL!!! Lmao you people are hilarious.

The thing is Bill doesn’t do a bunch of fancy stuff on defense. He likes to double your best guy, put his best corner on your #2, and just play smart sound football. He wants to make your offense force mistakes and that be that.

That strategy is a dark hole against KC. They’re too talented to shut down straight up. The Pats can’t rush the passer. Mahomes can extend plays and beat their secondary that way if he absolutely needs it, although I doubt they can cover our guys anyways.

I just don’t see any way they can stop KC. And I’m not sure we can stop NEs offense either.

Why do the shittiest fans in the world get blessed with these teams?

Worst fan bases in the NFL are the Patriots, cowboys, and steelers. Of course they would also be the most successful historically.

Patriots "fans" didnt exist before 2000. Everyone around here in new England was sporting cowboys, 49ers, and giants gear. I have been here my whole life and witnessed the wishy washy fans first hand.

What was your favorite team prior to the pats guyz?

It's just the nature of winning a lot. If we go on to win 5 SBs over the next 15 years, our fans will be insufferable too. That said, it's amplified for teams like Dallas, Pitt, and NE. Mainly because they are in large(r) markets, get more exposure, and have more mouthbreathers to choose from.

Ive been a Pats fan since Bledsoe was a rookie. Next ignorant comment?

Your fan base seems pretty reeruned, claiming decades of Future dominance after only 5 wins.

We went to the super bowl my first year watching football. When you live in maine thats pretty much the team you follow. I cant speak for anyone else, and yes there are alot of patriots fans from all these southern states that signed up after 2004 or 2007.

That is the kicker, that being said the Chiefs Defense has gotten off to fast starts they will need to do so again this week.

So you just jumped on the bandwagon when Bill Parcells came along.

You never had to endure the years of the Pats being an NFL laughingstock, with their crowning achievement being getting blasted by the Bears in the Super Bowl.

Bill has been experimenting for the last year on an appropriate defense for the style of offense that teams like KC and Philly run. He tried that 4 safety defense that he used in both the season opener and the SB that failed miserably, so he scrapped it. The first part of this season was spent mostly on figuring out optimal personnel groupings and the right scheme for defending against such an offense. The Indy game was the most helpful experiment, even though they don't have the talent that KC does, because they do a lot of the same things. Now we're about to see a defense for the KC style offense that has been 12+ months in the making, and KC fans are about to be shocked for some reason, even though we've all seen this movie before. The Pats at home in October against hot undefeated teams that think they're unbeatable and that they're the future of the AFC always ends the same way - with Bill completely out coaching the opposition, and the team executing the gameplan to perfection.
If ol' Billy was using this "secret weapon" scheme that you allege exists against the Colts, then Reid has already dissected it and game planned against it. Considering the game just happened, it'd be the FIRST film that they'd break down. What a stupid post.

Feels like we know what the Pats are gonna do on offense and I’m not sure there’s anything we can do to stop it. Especially without 50 playing.

Fuller has to show up big and throw Edelman off his game. We need to make Brady pat that ball a little longer than he’d like a pray that someone can hit his ass a handful of times.

I was in like 3rd grade, jackass lol. I actually started liking the Pats because i thought their uniforms were cool. And i liked collecting their trading cards.

The Chiefs have been NOTHING for nearly 50 years. How does that salt taste?
