Chiefs Cool Chiefs tailgate story to share

I figured this warranted it’s individual thread.

I was at the playoff game last Sunday with some of my family and friends and we were doing the tailgate thing and taking hits off of my nifty 8 man beer bong that we call “Warpaint” and one of my buds randomly asked a guy that walked by what his sign said that he was holding in his hand.

The sign stated, “I came all the way from Italy only to be here today to feel Arrowhead Magic…Go Chiefs” Nonetheless, we were amazed by this and continued to talk and visit with the guy. We offered him to take part within our tailgate and join us for some beer and tasty ribs that I was cooking up on the grill. He gladly accepted and we hanged out and had a great tailgate together.
We are now all friends on facebook and when he plans to come back to KC we will be sure to help him out getting around KC and tailgate together…hopefully to a Chiefs victory!

Cool. That's one of the things I love about tailgating. With a few exceptions, you can drop by any given tailgate and be welcomed into the party.

way cool... a couple of years ago.. two guys come up to me and tell me there is someone who wants to meet me...ends up being a guy in a wheelchair with his posse from Canada...five pics later and some football talk, they give me a cooler* with about 20 molsen beers..couldn't take it back with them...met a guy from austraila last sunday...then some maniac gave me playoff Bourbon...

chiefs fans rock...

*still have the cooler.

Wasn't there a story going around that someone wanted to stop all of the tailgating at Arrowhead??

I have noticed that with us, if I'm not tailgating, people will invite me over for a beer or whatever. If I am tailgating there are always people that stop by and have a beer with me. Thats one of the reasons I love the Chiefs, brings KC together. It is also nice to cheer along with my KU friends once in awhile

That would be a great idea to eat and drink free all day. Just make a sign and pretend not to speak english.

If I'm thinking of the thread you're talking about, it was an intentional gross exaggeration. If I recall correctly, the thread was about being told they couldn't have tents in the aisles.
