Just watched him today, and he looks solid. They even said that Tony Dungy advised that if he comes out early that the Chiefs should take him with the number one pick.

What sayeth the group?

Replace Barkley with Bray and I'm on board.

I'm not sure I'd rather have Barkley than Murray. They're the same guy, but Murray's done more with less against much tougher competition. I think Murray's a better pro than Barkley when all is said and done.

doesn't pass the eye test to me like Geno did

even on the highlights he doesn't look very decisive...lots of pump fakes...won't work in the NFL

Dont think he is a bad player, he just hasnt improved since his freshman year. Granted I dont watch a ton of GA games, but what I have seen, he appears to be the same guy he was 2 yrs ago . Which I liked a lot then.

Murray is a rhythm passer. He'll get into some funks that last an entire half, but suddenly he'll find his groove and hit 15 of 17 or something insane like that.

He'll need to work on making his downs less down. When he's bad, he can't be that bad anymore.

Because when he's good, he's more than capable of being a solid NFL quarterback. If he can get to where his cold stretches are passable and his hot stretches are more prolonged, he could be a pretty good one.

He could be similar to Eli Manning at this level if everything broke right.

better off in WCO. Not sure about Eli, but on the right team, could be highly productive. Murray's issues are mostly mental, just cant consistently but it all together.

IMO, he's more comparable to Tony Romo than Eli Manning.

I honestly believe he could molded into a franchise QB. If the Chiefs believe he is the guy, take him. Better than not trying at all.

At this point, as a domestically-abused fan, I would take Tony Romo. I just want the team to make an attempt to draft and groom somebody.
