Life Courtesy time - mowing the lawn - Page 3

Ok, I want to start mowing the lawn and it's almost 9:30 AM

If I started at 9:30 AM is that too early for a weekend mow? What is the time it's allowable to start and not piss the neighbors off?

When I was younger and stayed out late on the weekends I'd have said not before noon.

These days, I'd say not before 8, but 7 wouldn't bother me.

Sometimes it's just nice to sleep a little bit extra. I know I needed it today, was worn the **** out from Friday and Saturday. In bed at midnight last night, out of bed at 10 this morning. And there's not a goddamn thing wrong with that.

Anyway, not mowing before 10 is just common courtesy. Similar to not calling somebody before 10 (or after 10) or playing a stereo or TV loud early or late. I wouldn't be pissed at somebody who did, I'm usually up before 7, even on weekends, but at the same time I'd never do it myself.

There are many things about living in a townhome that are annoying, but one of the things that isn't is not having to deal with mowing the yard.

But as far as the mowing at 9:30 a.m. thing goes, I wouldn't mind it. Hopefully you wouldn't mind being shot in the ****ing head.

Just hang out by their open garage door, and the moment you see them step into the pool, you can know it's safe to mow.

Sundays I sleep late till 7:30 before I jump on the ride on
