Where did you first hear about ChiefsPlanet?

I'm doing a report with a similar question in it right now, so I thought it might be interesting to see where people find the Planet. No real reason other than boredom right before quitting time before a holiday.

I'm pretty sure I just found it with a web search. Maybe. I almost have to mark the "I don't remember" box, because I might have found another board that linked directly to here, but I've never been an active member on any other boards.

I honsetly don't remember. I tried to get another board going after Rivals boards went away in 2000 and they redirected their efforts to the high school level. That board was going nowhere and I found my way here but just how I heard about this place I couldn't say.

I guess I'm a near founding member. While it seems that those of us who joined up in August of 2000 are considered "founders," I actually wasn't part of the initial exodus from the Star BB. The board was started on August 17 - I joined up three days later. Member #94, if you're keeping track.

Initially I thought this whole ChiefsPlanet thing would just blow over.

It's definitely interesting to look at the initial users. Some are regulars, and others haven't been heard from since 2000. I wonder if I can pull a list out by UID...

Seriously I did a Google of Chiefs since I live out of town.

I bet most out of towners found it by search if you break it down. Heck, I still search for Chiefs sites semi-annually.
