Royals are only 3 games away from being the worst team in baseball. Nobody is doing really bad just yet. The pain is coming folks. We have by far the worst starting pitching staff in the majors. And yes, I've been saying this all year.

Do your research (if you're talking about me). I've been a doubter for a while, posted as such, took crap for it, cam back and ate crow, then they lose all these in a row (starting the day I ate crow). Troll or not, as with the previous um-teen years, they seem to be the same old Royals. I hope I'm wrong. I want to take the family to the K and think we have a better than 50/50 chance of winning, and not be happy with buck-night and fireworks. The Royals need to know that 4-game-loss stretches are going to not only hurt their record, but send their bright-eyed fans packing...

Why are so many of you guys really stupid? I can't even click into a gamethread anymore without encountering dozens upon dozens of staggeringly dumb posts.

As the Marlins danced beneath an explosion of lights and fireworks, a heartbroken Kevin Seitzer, wedged alone in the darkest corner of the loser’s dugout, hatched a diabolical plan for World Series victory: to create an entire lineup of Kevin Seitzers. And so it began . . .

I am always in these threads if I am home. Watching other teams blasting the ball out of the park while we employ the 70's method of slap hitting is frustrating. Bill Butler is the worst of them all.

Because, clearly, the Royals didn't want those power hitters. They were available way back when they were 18-19 yrs old, and everyone knew they would turn out to be power hitters, but no, those royals turned down those sure things. (except moustakas, hosmer, and myers, ignore those guys, they inconveniently spoil the "royals dont believe in power" theory)

All in the minors. I don't believe any of it until they are mashing in the majors, not slap hitting, but hitting 30 home runs.

Let them say what they want. Just ignore it and don't respond. They don't really understand baseball, hence the stupid comments.

This is going to be a rough season, like many of us knew it would be. We don't have enough starting pitching, our relievers are young and inexperienced, and we don't have enough at the plate to overcome any of this. Help is on the way. Patience.

Sure....alot of them are trolls.....but on the flip flop....Even the most Homeriest of Homers should be able to see that this team has alot of holes and problems.

The guys screaming "Lack of Power" and "Lack of quality starting pitching" are pretty much correct.

Any thoughts on Yost bringing in RH Coleman to pitch to Choo? Collins was obviously available. Was it the booze talking or a greater strategy on Yost's part?

Collins isn't exactly having great success pitching to lefties. In fact, they (lefties) are hitting much better than righties against him.

vs LH - .348 avg, 10.80 era, 9BB
vs RH - .192 avg, 2.25 era
