Royals are only 3 games away from being the worst team in baseball. Nobody is doing really bad just yet. The pain is coming folks. We have by far the worst starting pitching staff in the majors. And yes, I've been saying this all year.

I am always in these threads if I am home. Watching other teams blasting the ball out of the park while we employ the 70's method of slap hitting is frustrating. Bill Butler is the worst of them all.

Because, clearly, the Royals didn't want those power hitters. All in the minors. I don't believe any of it until they are mashing in the majors, not slap hitting, but hitting 30 home runs.

Any thoughts on Yost bringing in RH Coleman to pitch to Choo? Collins was obviously available. Was it the booze talking or a greater strategy on Yost's part?

Collins isn't exactly having great success pitching to lefties. In fact, they (lefties) are hitting much better than righties against him.
