Besides the fact that LJ is not tradeable, I would rather have Rashard Mendenhall than McFadden. McFadden has chicken legs.

Aren't we really talking about the merits of JA trade in comparison? Again.

LJ is damaged goods thanks to Herm...
His value isnt worth the assloaded contract that we are forking over for him... This so reminds me of the Royals.. trade away Beltran, Damon, etc.... But keep Mike "I am a big pussy and always hurt" Sweeney... God it sucks being a KC fan sometimes... |

If they're gonna blow it up... blow it up.
Trade LJ for a couple of picks... take a guy like Felix Jones or Mendenhall, just load up for the future.

If we could get a first round pick, plus something else worth something....fine. I'm not sure we can though.

Some people on here just dont understand how the salary cap works. LJ is untradeable, if we traded him we be losing more money than we would if we kept him and paid him. So it wouldnt makes sense at all from the chiefs standpoint to trade him.

It's fun to think about. Mendenhall and Kolby Smith would be a nice one-two combination.

With the injury last year, it's hard to know for sure....but LJ was becoming more of a pain in the ass than he was worth. While I don't expect it, if they are blowing this whole thing up, then....cutting your losses, and getting some compensation.....while ditching a growing locker room cancer.....would not be unthinkable.
