Great--Grbac is Questionable for MNF

Just reported on Fox Sports Net that Elvis is still suffering severe hangna..er..finger pain and is questionable for Monday night's game against New England.

Great news for those of you that think we ought to tank the remainder of the season...

If it's true, then Elvis is a big PU$$Y! A bruised finger? How many QB's in the league would miss games because of this? He has improved as a QB but this is exactly why he has not improved as a team leader. I'm hoping that his finger is much worse than the x-rays showed - so I can more understand his mindset. I keep giving Elvis the benefit of the doubt. I'd like to know that it's not a foolish gesture on my part.

i don't think it really matters what qb starts. we always suck in new england. i'm hopin grbac comes back and breaks that string of bad luck there but i'm not holding my breath. but anyways i'm starting to wonder if grbac is really injured or if gun or carl is just holding him out.

I hope that if Gunther comes back, EG tells Carl no renegotiation, pony up the 10 mil, or I am outta here. Won't be popular with Chief fans, but at least it should insure the absence of Cunningham, the worthless SOB coach, at the end of 2001.

TX - I think it was Gun's call not to start Elvis, it sounded like he practiced last Friday and Gun told him "no".
