when you start you have fewer options. I like that 45 smg, silenced and impact until I can open a higher smg. I like to run then find a good stop point to crouch and catch someone running behind me. Blast them and continue running. It's fun to catch a flank and smoke two to four other players. Except lately either I'm lagging or they have switches because it goes all nuts and they turn to kill me.

You do realize that when you run and gun, you show up on their map as coming towards them from multiple ways?? Unless you find the same person in the same spot every-time..

Why wouldn't you gain the advantage in it?

I don't think we're talking about the same things...but I never show up on radar with the class I primarily use...I have blind eye, assassin pro, and I use a silencer on my Type 95.

In fact, I've become quite familiar with most maps and crouch spots so I rarely get killed by a croucher anymore, but I just want to point out how gay they are anyways.

I'll be honest...this is my first COD ever and I'm still learning the terms and how things work...

I'm just now finally getting good and have all of my strategies and maps down...
I play with my best friend (best Halo 3 player I've ever seen) who goes like 35-3 every game...and I just now have started getting into my own beast mode.

With support I usually go like 18/12/6...hard to get a lot of kills when my friend gets his ACR-130 every freaking game.

Yeah the UMP 45 is a good choice too. I just prefer the PP90 over it because it kills faster, I will use the P90 over it because it has a bigger clip, and the MP7 is the best SMG in the game at range.

I am getting to know the maps better and am getting to where I am closer to a 1:1 ratio in most games unless there is some camper that I am trying to figure out the best approach to smoke them out to learn those types of spots in a map.

I am about level 20 now, still using the very first assault rifle (MFA1) which I have leveled up to 9, and am itching to see what to move onto next. For now I am just working on getting the type 95 unlocked, but wasn't sure if I'd be better off starting on trying to work up the scar or something else. Someone had mentioned liking the M16, but when I tried it I was getting wasted and never made a kill until I switched back to the M4 and ended up with 5 kills in the last couple minutes.

Tried a shotty as well, SPAS I think, and wasn't getting any kills there either. I was hitting some people from my kill cam views, but just wasn't getting them well enough to get the kill I guess.

The SCAR and the M1A1 are both good guns. The best assault rifle in the game is the ACR but you don't unlock that until level 60 something. The M16 is a poor man's version of the Type 95.

Don't even mess with the shotguns unless you plan on leveling them up to weapon level 28. Every one of the shotguns are absolutely worthless until level 28. (Except the Striker, but it is getting patched soon)

Striker was the one I'd thought about trying out when I unlocked it, but if it is being patched, oh well.

You said M1A1...I don't see that one...were you talking about the M4A1? I'll try the SCAR out some and see how it goes as it levels up.

31-3-13 in my first game using the PP90. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Anyone on here ever use recon? I spent a couple hours to get pro in it thinking it would be of use, but as soon as I did I realized its probably the worst tier 1 perk. First of all, running sleight of hand is a must for my play style. After that I'd probably go extreme conditioning or even scavenger before recon... I Just get bored and like to try out new classes/perk setups. I usually go sleight of hand/quickdraw/steady aim or sitrep with an SMG or AR. Then I have my "ghost" class with an AR and blind eye/assassin/sitrep with a launcher to shoot shit down. Of course I have a sniper and shotty class I use when I feel like ****ing around. Anybody have a cool/fun setup I should try out?
