I gave it an 8. I was disappointed by the DE pick and the QB pick. I would have liked McPherson and we had the chance to grab him.

Id give it an 8. First day couldnt have gone any better and I love the Craphonso and Parquet picks that were made today.
Compaired to our recent draft days its a 10. Last edited by Miles; 04-24-2005 at 10:40 PM.. |

I loved it. The only pick I don't like it King.
DJ and Grigsby made my draft. I think both will be monsters under Gun. Thorpe and Colquitt should contribute and Hodge has an outside chance at Nickle back if McCleon is cut. I give it a 9. |

I give it a nine. The first three rounds are the most important, and I think we did excellent in those three rounds. We had some iffy picks in the later rounds, but not enough to drag our draft down very much at all. If I could have voted a 9.5 out of 10 I would have.

From what I'm use to seeing on draft day I'd have to give it an 11....Closer to an 8 probably though.

I love DJ, I love the CB pick, the WR, Grisgby.
I'm usually hard-pressed to find one guy I like that we draft, lol. But then, I'm not a season ticket holder, so I'm not a real fan so I can do that.

I gave it a nine, factoring in the trade for Surtain.

I give it a 10 personally...just because from day one of all the mock drafts and seeing DJ play I wanted him more then any other player.. I could have fainted when I saw that Detroit didnt take him and then I had a feeling he was gonna be there.... Throw in the Surtain deal and that made my weekend enrollment to Hays that much funner.

I personally like this draft, and I know everyone was busting on Prisco in another thread. I think you should all head over to ESPN.com as Kiper is giving them not much better as he rates them at a C for the draft. According to Mr Kiper the Broncos crappy draft was just as good as ours, I don't get it.

I'd hope Kiper didnt give us that grade with putting Surtain in their with our 2nd round pick. I dont like Kiper one bit...
