Bomb Exploded at Boston Marathon Finish Line

I've heard an unconfirmed report (a co-worker's girlfriend called him) that there was a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, with people injured. I am hearing multiple sirens, though I'm not in the Copley area.

If you wanted to pull off a big event today, and everyone in the entire universe has seen your picture, why would you go rob a 7-11 and start a giant string of police activity that would put you on the run.

these guys by the looks of it were going to blow up MIT by placing the bombs with the cover of the darkness. box of wires were found as well as bomb devices/pressure cooker. they learned a lot from their morning dry run.

Assuming the two in question have either planted other devices or there are other unknown players working behind the scenes, the reason you would rob the 7-11 is the same reason you would shoot a cop in his cop car. Draw a massive police response to an area where you want the cops to be. Diversionary tactic. The more people they have chasing them and focused on them the fewer men they have to stumble upon other devices/plans.

I am probably over thinking it...but I still prepare for the worst and hope for the best.
