Windows / IE question for anyone who knows ...
I have an old pc here that is slow, it has IE5.5 on it. Will a Windows 98 upgrade make it slower ? I'm thinking it might, more things to scan thru ?
I plan on using this for the grandkids to play with ? Looking for answers ? |

What are the specs on it?
If you're upgrading to 98, I'm guessing it's currently got 95 on it. That was MS's worst upgrade ever. You'll probably end up with problems very quick if you do that. If the PC can handle it, install 2000 Pro. If not, put a clean install of 98 on it and plan on redoing it every month or so. |

OK, heard enough !
Just going to leave it as it is . Windows 95 for the kids to use ! Next question is, is IE 6.0 faster than 5.5 and will it work on Wins/95 ?
