Personally, I'd consider 8 wins next year a pretty good year

Right? If he was so damned good, why didn't Pete Carroll draft him?

Because they went and ****ed up and traded away the 2nd round pick for a ****ing Scrub. If they didnt trade for Smith, then maybe they could draft a sit on the bench and grow QB. Now? I dunno, 3rd rounder in a year thats not that deep in QB's.

All i can say is this ****ing team.

IF one of these QB's ever wins a playoff game, I'll be the first one in line to eat crow. At least I have the balls to admit I am wrong IF I am.

Scenario 1 also gives us another 2nd or third round pick the following year...and if we can't re-sign Albert, we would likely get a comp in the 2015 draft, too...likely a third.

The second scenario losses the Chiefs 2nd or 3rd round pick in 2014, too and has no chance at a 3rd round comp pick the following year.

Let's keep shit straight.

Those are fairly important details.

Thanks for completely avoiding answering the question. It seems to me that "the right one" has come along numerous times and the Kansas City Chiefs have passed over all of them. That means the organization as a whole has been averse to drafting QBs in ANY round for ... 30 years? Since Todd Blackledge flamed out? What of you draft Geno at 1.1 and he flames out like Blackledge? What then? Another 30 years before they try again?

Yeah, no wonder all the KC fans are belligerent. I would be, too.
