Chiefs | Siavii a long shot to make team

Chiefs | Siavii a long shot to make team
Wed, 2 Aug 2006 13:11:03 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs DT Junior Siavii (knees) is a long shot to make the team, according to Adam Teicher, of KCStar.com. Lional Dalton and Ryan Sims appear to be entrenched as the starters at the tackle positions, and the team is impressed with backups James Reed and Jimmy Wilkerson. A ffith tackle, Ron Edwards, practiced for the first time, Monday, July 31. Siavii has not yet practiced in training camp.

Someone on the BB said Siavii would never work out, that he was lazy and had weak legs and was fat. I don't know who that way but boy was that guy smart.

We'd be better off if we traded our 2nd rnd pick every year for extra picks. Our 2nd rndrs are cursed.

man, that's some of the worst armchair quarterbacking I've seen in a long, long time.

Saying that they shouldn't have picked him. Of course they shouldn't have, now that y'all see that he isn't good. I'd like to go back and look at the threads to see what you guys said then about him, if you posted at all. And also see what your draft picks would have been and how they are doing now.

In fact, we should have a thread that's saved just for drafts so everyone can choose who the chiefs could choose, then we can all go back and look and see how great your decisions are.

OK - that's off my chest. I'm better now.

Adios

Yeah dude we were all cheering when we had a great offense no defense and an all pro tight end and we picked a tight end in the second round.

Unfortunately I'm a fan of the Chiefs. I'll believe that Siavii is a long-shot to make the team at the time they cut his ass and not before.

K. Mitchell would disagree on that. He turned out fine. The real problem is the organization is selecting "projects", and rarely they ever work out, especially the Chiefs always have a raging woody on trying to pick "projects" in the 2nd round.

It's like watching a bad movie hoping it will get better. Unfortunately it rarely does.

I do not get the Wilson hate at all. He has had four passes thrown his way and caught three of them. If you can not blame Al Saunders, blame Nick Athen.
