It was not a good performance, but it was only the second preseason game against a helluva defense. I don't think it is indicative of how the season will go for Smith and the Chiefs. I'm not worried about it at all. I was just annoyed that it wasn't a fun game to watch last night.

JFC. We played against the Super Bowl runner up. Their defense will **** up almost anyone. Our online is a work in progress because Hudson is coming off injury, fisher is a rookie and Allen is in his second year. If guys wouldn't drop the ball maybe we would've had a better rhythm. We were the worst team in the league last year. I'll take this right now. I didn't want Alex but ill deal with it.

I didn't expect them to come out and throw all over the 49ers or even run the ball down their throats.

I just wanted a team that looked competent against a good defense. Didn't see that.

Well, once we get those stupid, tough teams out of the way and get on to playing cream puffs I'm sure things will be just fine.

Thankfully the defenses in our division are pretty soft, so we've got that going for us.

So I think it is safe to say against a top tier defense with a banged up O-line learning a new offensive scheme and no good running back with wide receivers dropping balls that yes... it's true... Alex Smith might get worn down and make some mistakes. Good observations.

Who is watching this 49er replay at noon today? I will say it for the 400th time since you people think we played the real niner super bowl team, we played the fukking backup niner scrubs every possession with the exception of the first series.
