My hair and beard literally takes zero time. I don't cut it, I don't trim it, I don't comb it, nothing. Can't get any lower maintenance than that. LOL

I used to do the summer clean shaven winter beard for insulation. Then one summer I decided to go with the beard and found it also insulates the heat and your face doesnt really sweat like scalp. I have worked outside in the elements since a teen. I can sweat in 35 degree and 25 mph wind its a heredity issue. I hated it as a kid in gym i would sweat just shooting baskets in the gym my hair wet and dripping silver dollar sized sweat bullets. Funny though the beard didnt bother me but the grey sucks because it looks like a skunk with a silver stripe right down the middle chin. I am clean shaven now but debating on setting the whiskers free.

Do it myself. I can see everything and I know exactly how I want it done. There have been many mistakes along the way but I'm getting there.

Timely thread - just this morning decided to get out the norelco and prune some off the beard. Was nearing Moses length, young Moses anyway. The girl that does my hair doesn't do beards, else I'd have her do it. All self-service.

I heard The Gents Place in Leawood does a nice job with beards.
