Yeah, that's true. I'm just talking about what I HOPE. I always HOPE that the nice guy does well, and root for that. I wouldn't want Ray Lewis on the Chiefs. I find that stuff embarrassing and impossible to root for. I remember when Bill Romanowski was going to be a free agent, and the Chiefs SORELY needed a linebacker. He would have been a perfect fit for us. That said, he was just SO detestable that all of Chiefsplanet agreed, we didn't want guys like that on the team. When the rumors started swirling that we were interested, and after Carl had talks with his agent... The board started a petition, and got those signatures to Carl. It was like a week later that Carl publicly announced we would NOT be pursuing Romanowski. And there was much rejoicing.

Don't you EVER mention Matt Cassel and Joe Montana in the same paragraph again. You can go **** yourself.

Cassel was Hali's old faithful. When he couldn't score a sack anywhere else, he knew he could in practice. Sometimes a man needs an easy one.

I don't care what he says about Cassel.

He threw the current OL under the bus, though.

Yeah he kinda did, which is just strange because they've been one of the better O-Lines in the league the last few years protecting Cassel, who's been one of the worst QBs in the league.

I dont get it Tamba.

He threw a whole unit under the bus to back up a terrible QB that is not coming back?

And just the fact that he doesn't see that our O-Line is pretty damn good is disturbing. Does he not understand that Cassel is just terrible? Does he not get that a great QB doesnt need a dominant O-Line?

And a fair chance Tamba? He's gotten FOUR years. 4 years to prove that he's not even a good backup QB. He got way longer than pretty much any other bad QB would get because our GM was a complete dumbass.

But he needs another chance?

Stupid Tamba.

That was the cringeworthy part of the statement, in my opinion. That wasn't a nice thing to do.

The only place Cassel is leading anyone deep into is a burly man's anus.

he's just trying to be a good teammate. If players were allowed to say what they thought, everybody would be all butt hurt about it.

Yes. But in the process he kinda dogged his own O-Line. Multiple players that will be back this year. Multiple players that have actually been good at their job. Cassel won't be back and he's been a terrible QB for 4 years here.

Do Charger fans get all down when Ryan Leaf pops up in the arrest news? Do Bronco fans get all giddy when Tebow helps builds a church in South America?

All ex-Chief QBs fade away or become the fade.

Even more than that these guys become friends etc...

I would be worried if they let Hali make personnel decisions. They don't so no worries.
