Late Round HB: Thunder for our Lightning
We have charles and a legit backup in Jones. Solid. But Jones isn't exactly a banger and he's long in the tooth.

I'm not saying we should go HB but if we do (and the Faulk/Smith combo worked well for NE) who are our best targets? If we could get a steal in the 3rd on down (Dwyer, Dixon, Blount) to pound out the 4th quarter or goal line/short yardage who should we look at?

This is probably the least I've watched college ball in 10 years, and I'd never considered HB as a draft need, but who would be a good complimentary back to Charles come day 3?...

Charles Scott from LSU would be a good pick at 4/5 rounds. Injury problems aside. Big program, 5'11 231lbs. 4.6 40 time. Bruiser of a running back.

Jones is perfect, IMO. RB isn't a need at all.

He is a bit of a "banger".

I like him as well but maybe a bit later than 4th or 5th. Keiland Williams is another out LSU that got hurt last year that shows some promise as a backup/complimentary RB.

Agreed. Someone late would be nice but not really a pressing need.

I'm not saying we should, in fact I argued against it and don't think it will happen.

This draft is full of falling talent and just as many head scratcher decisions.
