Royals should go after ARod.(non fb)

Was checking a little of this ALCS between NY-Seattle and Bob Costas said Alex Rodriguez would be a free agent when this season ends AND the Mariners might not be able to afford to keep him.

How about the new Royals ownership pony up some dough and get him in KC. A player of his abilty can't hurt to have on the roster. Or is the goal in Royals Nation to reach the .500 mark, again?

Back to your regular scheduled programming....

I for one would be ecstatic to see this happen but i don't think we will. ARod is way out of our range. I think we need to get a solid vereran closer and a good middle inning relief pitcher before anything else. Our offense was awesome, but our bullpen pitching is an abomination. The starters look like they are starting to get some pretty good production. I don't think the current system in baseball will allow the Minnesotas and Kansas Cities to be prominent.

A-Rod said he would stay if we were a world series team....It will be interesting to see if he keeps that promise..Mariners will be able to pay him, but, I have a hunch Alex wants to go to a limelight mass media city like new york...We shall see....

Watchin it right now Joe, as you are I'm sure. Wish the Royals had pitching like the Mariners do. I'll root for anyone to beat the Spankees, but the Mariners seem like an alright team to me.
