How about people who argue with a base level employee about a policy? The receptionist didn't make the policy. She can't let you in without an appointment. She isn't going to risk her job just because you're an idiot and can't follow the policy like everyone else, or because you think you're special and policies don't apply to you. Becoming irate is not going to increase your chances, either.

Maybe we are talking past each other here, because what I'm talking about is pretty standard.

I'm at a red light wanting to go forward.
Guy coming off an exit, or busy road, to my left perpendicular to me, or to my right perpendicular to me, is turning left into the road I'm on. Yes, he has a green left turn arrow, but the lane or lanes he is turning into are completely backed up. So he pulls into the intersection, even though there's no real possibility of going. Now, his arrow turns red, and he's stuck in no man's land, blocking traffic in all directions, meaning all directions are at a standstill until his lane clears.
In that situation, he's the asshole. Not the guy who sees there's nowhere to go and waits for an opening.

Nothing about that situation is standard. I don't think I've ever come across that situation ever.

I don't know what to tell you two, beyond relating a situation that happened to me. Anyone here who's been in Miami traffic on US1 can probably tell you a similar story, plus or minus the legal involvement:

I pulled into the intersection on the green during rush hour traffic. I got stuck there and had to cross after the light turned red, because you have to or you back up traffic for miles, since you can never cross the intersection on green or yellow. I had a cop ticket me for this. I appealed. I won.

So what is a good sub in your opinion? I'm really not a big sandmich guy. They are all pretty run of the mill and I could think of a 100 things id rather eat. But at lunch in the field on a hot humid day its fairly light on the tummy and cheap. Subway for what it is isn't bad. I could do worse like make it myself and have it get all soggy sitting in a lunch pale. If I go to JJ goodsense or planet sub and I always feel I could have ate lunch at a steak house for the same price.

Good bread + good meats + good toppings = good sub or sandwich

I don't usually look to chain shops for great subs or sandwiches but, out of the chains, Jason's Deli has always done a better job, along with Firehouse subs, just to mention a couple. To be fair though, now that I think about the sub issue, I probably shouldn't bag on all JJs, because my lousy experiences with that chain all happened at the same store, which closed quickly. Maybe other locations are better.

Subway's garbage, but you know that's why you're paying less. It's like going to Taco Bell and Little Caesar's that way.

Used to be a Italian Deli in Valentine are in KC on I believe 5th street just east of Heart or America Bridge. Forgotten name was good subs better meatball sub.
