America's Got Talent should end
Watching with the wife for the first time this season and all of these acts so far completely stink. Was the competition so bad this year that this much crap still made it through to the quarter finals?

I usually like this show but I have never seen this much crap on it in one sitting. What really kills it is the fact that the judges actually like some of what has aired tonight. The little girl singer was really good but she has no business having any show in vegas.

Not a single one of these acts would be worth paying to see.

There are shittons of talented people in this world. Hell. When I was at Emporia I knew several musicians than any of the crap I've seen on TV. And that's just 4 years exposure at an itty bitty college in nowhereville KS with a really small music department.

The jackass producers aren't interested in finding the best talent. They're trying to entertain some yokels and buy a little viewership with "entertainment factor." and the hell if it is that people eat it up or they'd change their format.

It is society that is broken. Not the show.

I wish they would stop 99 percent of the child acts and 90 percent of the magic, and go on from there. Most children are terrible and most magic doesn't work on television.

I didn't see tonight's show. This is just a general observation.

The entire premise of the show is to have a headlining act in Vegas so that should eliminate child acts right off the bat. Yet they always let a child act all the way to the finals then mention they are too young for vegas. Well duh. Where were those comments when you first saw the act?

I've seen some great magicians on this show in previous years that never make it to the finals even though they should. For whatever reason, America just doesn't care for the magic acts no matter how good they are. The one today sucked.
