The SOC movement will be the high water mark for Chiefs Fandom for a while.

Arrowhead in the next five to ten years will be a ghost town like the 70s and 80s. I'll bet games get blocked out on local TV as soon as the calendar rolls to November.

This is an ownership issue.

Clark Hunt with a straight face tells reporters this week he expects his team to "build on" what they did last season… after sitting comatose in free agency and the draft.

There's nothing wrong with how Hunt goes about business, assuming he hires the right people. The problem is to date he hasn't hired the right people. Pioli was a disaster, but at least he swung for the fences with the top GM candidate available at the time, and at least he didn't let him stick around like Lamar would have. Dorsey to date has not proven to be a great hire, but that was more of an Andy Reid decision. So we'll find out real soon if Andy Reid is as bad at hiring personnel people as he is hiring defensive coordinators.

The ironic thing is that Reid pretty much put together the core of the Philly team that Chip Kelly is going to win with, including drafting their franchise QB...
