Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

it should be getting to a sb or its a failure. You cant get there or win every year, but the rest should be a failure pure and simple.

Great players and great franchises look at it that way. They have too imo

I believe that if it had been Alex Smith at the 5 yard line on the last play of the SB that he would have scored. Slaperdick threw it to his only read and and blew it. He choked...........

The fact that Adam Schefter said no other team was willing to offer two picks is scary.

Like in an auction when the bidding is up to 6,000 on a 9,000 car and someone jumps the bid to 10,000.

Everyone looks at each other like "wtf? Are there some gold bars we didn't find in the trunk or something?"

...if there aren't any gold bars in the trunk of the car, the guy who spent 10k on it looks like a fool.

He will. YOu can guarantee he will already be in KC on the 12th before the trade is even official, he will be in the play book, if rumor is true that D bowe is resigning, he will have him and every other player that he can get his hands on out and working on timing and routes. hes that guy. Call me a homer, lover whatever you want, but thats just flat out facts. no body is going to out work the guy. he just has a limited skill set. If his skill set was elite, he would be the best qb of all time.

While it's true that those six wins had a lot to do with them making the playoffs, Alex Smith could have ultimately been THE reason they DIDN'T make the playoffs had he lost to Brees and Brady.

Brady yes, absolutely, but brees? The 49ers ran at will on the saints, and would have with alex. you are probably right though. I love alex, but i dont think he gets them as far as kaep does.....

You have to make the playoffs before you can win the SB, so yes, making the playoffs is a goal. And when you are a 2-14 team you have to crawl before you can walk, and walk before you can run.

Do you think that winning the SB is an achievable goal for 2013? I think realistically making the playoffs is (although a long shot), but winning the SB isn't. But we should do our best to go as far as we can. A team should strive to improve every year. That is what Reid is doing.

In other words, it is not the ultimate goal, but it certainly is the goal for 2013. It is ok to have intermediate goals, steps along the path to your ultimate goal.

Yes, making the playoffs should be the goal of the 2013 Chiefs.

It would mark the first time in 21 years if they actually win one.

Walk before you can run. Or in the Chiefs case, crawl before you can walk.

Just the shut the **** up.

You're the biggest ****ing crybaby whiner in the forum and if the Chiefs win, you'll break your cock whacking off to the love you'll undoubtedly receive for your gifs.

Arguing with people that loved a certain college QB so much that they had nicknames for his genitalia should tell you something about those people's ability to be objective when things don't go their way.

If your goal is to cross the ocean, getting half way there is a goal. But if you're boat start's leaking once you get halfway, you're fubar. The ultimate goal should inform your choice of boat, not some intermediate goal.

Thats because you are simple and stupid. You are a shock jock poster who just wants to be an ass. Ive seen it before. It doesnt bother me. ALex Smiths intangibles are incredible. Its not even debateable. his natural football instincts lack, and his physical skills lack. everything from the neck up with him, from his ability to read defenses, to his understanding of the qb position, is top notch. Truthfully, as this will be the last thing i ever say to your dumbass, i dont give a flying rats ass what you think. or anyone who just wants to insult me because its "cool". See ya dick lick.

I warned you guys, he is not a troll. He is an acolyte of the church of Alex Smith. He is here to preach to you the gospel about his Messiah. He will be as tenacious preaching his convictions as any Mormon or Jehovah's Witness would.

He sincerely believes Alex Smith could have been the greatest QB of all time.

Good luck with that.
