Another Prayer Request....
My boss' daughter is eight weeks pregnant. She has a four year old daughter, and had a miscarriage with another baby about eight months ago. She's already had a few problems with this pregnancy. She was bleeding, so she went to the doctor. He told her there was a chance she had some small cysts on one of her ovaries. She was on bed rest for a few days, and the bleeding stopped. The baby is fine, she just has to take it easy. She has a sit down job, so that helps.

Anyway, my boss just called and told me she would be late getting to work today. The hospital called her at 10:30 this morning, and they told her that her daughter had been rushed to the hospital by ambulence from work. She said she felt like her appendix had burst or something. They've been running all sorts of tests on her today. They just got done doing an ultrasound to check on the baby, so my boss is waiting with her until she gets the results.

I just pray that everything is okay.

my wife had a couple miscarriages before our daughter, who was born 3 weeks ago. I know it is tough.

But a miscarriage would pale in comparision to losing your 4 year old.

I send them love and blessings.

I believe our prayers are more effective if we have a last name or something to go on, btw.

Just to update...

Everyone is fine for now, including the baby. My boss told me that she's gone from being able to see and hear a heartbeat to being able to see a little head and body forming.

She does have a cyst on her ovary. It has grown from 4 cm to 5 cm in diameter. They can't go in and laser it without risk of hurting/killing the baby. That will be what gives her problems throughout the pregnancy. She went home tonight and rested.

Her boyfriend, the father, wanted to have his brother come over to their place to hang out. She said that she really didn't feel like having anyone over, and was hoping that he would stay there with her this evening. I guess he got mad, and spent the evening pouting in their room. She got hungry. He wouldn't come out, so her daughter, who is four, told her, "You rest, mommy. I'll get you something to eat." So she went in and found something in the refrigerator. My boss was pissed that her boyfriend was sulking over something so petty that he made a four year old little girl take care of her mommy.

The four year old daughter is not in danger in any way. It's the baby that she's carrying. All are fine for now. Her name is Angela, and her four year old's name is Layla.

My boss got a call right at the start of our shift from her daughter. She had a miscarriage. Her daughter was taking it pretty hard. She was 9 weeks along. She asked my boss if she would mind taking her daughter for the night. She left work to go be with her daughter. She emailed me later from home saying that she had been asked if she would tell her granddaughter that mommy wasn't pregnant anymore. Not a fun task. Continued prayers would be really appreciated.
