2014-2015 NBA off-season Lebron goes home thread.

I will update this when the schedule is announced in a couple of weeks, but I will open with the new uniforms for the Charlotte Hornets below.

Wow, I've been on your side the entire time regarding Cleveland. Now you want to get personal?

I would take Carter-Williams, Oladipo, Burke, Plumlee, or Hardaway before Bennett. They were in the draft and available with Cleveland's pick, no?

You tell me why you'd take Bennett over each of those players.

Bennett was a terrible pick. Don't know how anyone can deny it. I think he'll end up being fine, but he should have graded into the middle of the first even in a bad draft class.

your shit Cleveland franchise could have had Nerlens Noel who is fine right now but since your idiot owner has no patience and wanted a player to play last year you got stuck with Bennet.

Noel would have helped make the Cavs a lot more attactive to Lebron. Your owner just did the same thing with Embiid cause hes an idiot. But thats why its Cleveland sports

What the **** are you talking about? If the Cavs wanted to win right away, they would have picked Parker, who was the most NBA ready. Many people picked Wiggins at #3 because he's raw.

Bennett was picked over Noel because of the idiot GM, not the idiot owner.

The amazing thing is that, if Lebron goes to Cleveland, that first round pick will absolutely be in the lottery. And probably a really high one.

Anyone know if it's protected?

I'm with you except that drafting Wiggins or Parker over an injured Embiid isn't exactly idiotic. Both of those guys have franchise player potential.

Lol hindsight is 20/20. It's easy to say that now. Bennett was the most skilled Big in the draft, and they needed that more than another guard.

Sure he looked like a bust, but he was also hurt and out of shape. Not to mention poorly coached and in an awful environment. I'm willing to see how he looks now that he's got much better support, coaching, is healthy, and the best shape of his life. Him and Wiggins are tearing up summer practice so far.

I believe it's top 10 protected the next 2 years, unprotected in 2017

C'mon man, I think he's much better than the way he played, but it was and still is a terrible pick. He was a first round pick for sure but not even close to top 5.

So, no matter what... That shit's going to be HIGH. No way Miami pulls the pieces together in the next three years unless something truly miraculous happens.

Well good thing we have a new GM who drafted the guy with more upside, is a better team player, and fits the team better over the guy who's more ready. But besides that a lot of people thing Noels frame isn't wide enough to be a dominating center and will continue to be injury prone.

And I'm not saying Bennett was the best option either, but it's not like there was anything remotely close to an Embiid, Wiggins, or Parker. I still think he can be pretty good, and none of those guys are going to be great.
