Anyone Else Disappointed by the Flyby?

It used to be in the 90's when Arrowhead was rocking we would get a loud thundering flyby, but I thought yesterdays was just sad. I guess it is just the sign of the times and I should be grateful there is even a flyby, but I see other teams flyby like Green Bay and their Flyby with their Jets are awesome. It just set the tone for how the chiefs were going to play yesterday I guess.

No - my group ends up getting in around 9, so I had no idea they had them open at 8.

I was tailgating across from a Remax hot air balloon, and I jokingly said that was our fly over. I was sure glad that wasn't the case.

I absolutely despise that. I don't know why I do, but I have a visceral negative reaction to people who can't hold a note and instead do the roller coaster note thing.

What did he have for a fly by yesterday? I have seen several, and they usually give me goose bumps?

That said, there were probably 15K Vikings fans there. I've never seen that many opposing fans, especially for a non-conference game.

Take away the Vikings fans and it would've been pretty ugly.
15k is a LOT, holy crap, I didn't notice that much. I was looking for some SFL banners, but didn't see any.

I just have to say though, Bowe is getting to be amazing. I honestly think he is the best WR this team has ever had. No disrespect to any of the old timers, but I really mean that. If Cassel was even average, it would be something.

You'd have hated this one.

She actually had to stop, setup and and blow her lungs out to move up a note, then she did it three times on 'free' alone.

It wasn't even the rollercoaster crap - it was a 14 year old girl trying to see how high she could get her voice after listening to a Mariah Carey album.

It really was as bad as anything I've ever heard.

You are probably right. But if the team wins a few games between now and then, the bandwagoners will get back out there and be seen in red.

Gus did the Mizzou-Oklahoma game, too. It's funny how every once in a while he just says something incredibly idiotic. During a replay of a touchdown, he said multiple times that the receiver had to have 2 feet down in bounds. I know he does college and the NFL, but that's pretty much an inexcusable mistake for an announcer.

He's pretty damn entertaining, though.

You all realize that the team (Clark Hunt) doesn't actually pay anything for a flyover, don't you? Each flyover counts as a training flight and comes out of already existing training budgets and schedules.

You can get your very own DD Form 2535 here http://states.ng.mil/sites/RI/army/A...orm%202535.pdf

That does it. I'm requesting a flyover for my next birthday.

I like the stealth flyovers.....those are cool as shit.

I'd really like to see some F22 flyovers.
