Sig Bet...

I'm not on here as often as I used to be, but I was definately on record as saying that I wanted Al Saunders to be our head coach. Now, I see that somebody has posted a "AS gets last laugh" thread and is getting flamed for it. Well, those are my sentiments as well. Go get 'em Al. As far as I'm concerned, the 'Skins are my team for the playoffs.

So, I'm putting up my sig to the first taker on this bet:

The parameters:
-ME: 'Skins reach the SuperBowl.
-TAKER: Must bet either Seahawks, Giants, or Bucs to reach SuperBowl.

Obviously, the Packers and Cowboys are the favorites, and will have to play one less game so you can't pick those guys. If one of those teams goes, then it's a wash.

I'll take the Bucs. I have a good feeling about them. But I don't probably count.

Allright sounds good. Ill go out on a limb. Bucs beat Packers in the NFC title game, and Cowboys lose in Divisional Round.

I don't understand the "nan-nanny-boo-boo" stuff with Saunders.

Last year, his Skins went 5-11 and the Chiefs went 9-7 and made the playoffs.

This year, the Skins went 9-7 and made the playoffs and the Chiefs went 4-12.

What's this "last laugh" stuff? Didn't Herm/Solari have the last laugh last year? Does the laughing suddenly end this year? Or will somebody always have the "last laugh" each and every year?

Don't get me wrong, Saunders is clearly a better OC than Solari, and Gibbs is obviously a better HC than Herm. I just don't get how 2007 suddenly vindicates while 2006 is dismissed.

For me, it's more about seeing the quality of play in a linear way. I'll post a graph it makes things easier.

I'm with AS as well as I was in support of him getting a shot as HC. And my brother lives in DC so I have to go with the Redskins.
