Avatars?

I can't figure out how everybody has massive avatars. I try to upload a tiny little dinky one that is about 1/20th of most peoples on here and it still get's rejected. What can I do?

There are dimension restrictions as well as file size restrictions. Odds are your file size is too large. Attach what you want to use in a post on this thread and I'll help you out.

Use custom avatar
Note: the maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 1024000 bytes (whichever is smaller).

I think you have to be registered for 30 days before you can use a custom avatar. I know you can't have one right away, so all you can do is wait.

I think it's 14 days, 30 posts, or 250 rep points. Something like that.

Well it says I can do a custom avatar, but when I try to upload it it always says it's too large. But I don't know how that can be the case because people have much largler ones than I do. Do you guys compress them with photoshop or something?

If you have MS Paint you can open the image with that and make adjustments. Make sure you're saving it as a .jpg file. Or you can post the pic you want to use and I will re-size it for you.
