Sadly you probably HAD to put that..... although I doubt it'll stand up in court.

So my assumption is the same celebrity can be on several peoples list and that's allowed....

Yes.
You'll win by predicting the Ryan Dunn's of the year, though.

If I understand correctly, the death bed, 3pt, clause applies to all [not just 03/01/12 entrants], but NOT to terminal celebs? ie, if in the past someone had selected Swayze, or Easy-E.

Perhaps this should be clarified, as I already have a list of people I'm fairly certain won't see 2013, who are not on their death bed unless things have escalated in VERY recent news cycles.

Also, non-deathbed picks are scored like normal regardless of how late one enters [so long as they don't witness the death, then jump on CP before it hits the news].

Good point...

Let's say from now until 1-13-12 anyone is fair game. I don't think anyone is really on the ol' deathbed really.

I will rewrite the rules to reflect that, now.

You're Swaze thing doesn't really apply. I'm thinking more along the lines of when we knew within a week that Reagan was dying and Gerald Ford for that matter...
You know, it's all over the news. Someone is about to croak, they do retrospect pieces, etc...

We knew [if paying attention] as Swayze's days waned [he died at home off aggressive Tx], same as Steve Jobs. But we also knew for a good while both had a severely limited lifespan.

I'd also suggest a choice between an escalator for right month OR a slightly smaller, then growing, escalator for within 30, 20 10 days. It would sure suck to pick someone June 1, and they die May 30 with no escalation.

I did 1 escalator... I think this should be good enough.

If they get it within a week, another 5 points.

That should get it.

Official Submission

Ok, I have decided to take part in this pool after all. Should anyone have a viable reason why I should not be allowed to participate, I will retract my submission. Keep in mind though that, should I win, I will forfeit my prize to the runner-up. However, I will definitely make Gonzo my bitch for at least a week.

1) George Michael - March 15th
2) Rod Stewart - July 3rd
3) Willie Nelson - June 9th
4) Kirk Douglas - August 4th
5) Zsa Zsa Gabor - February 16th
6) Mick Jagger - October 10th
7) Betty White - September 29th
8) Hugh Hefner - November 10th
9) Julie Andrews - May 2nd
10) Bob Dylan - July 17th

Good luck, bitches!
