Favorite football hits

I didn't see a thread for this but I thought it would be cool to share videos of your favorite football hits.

I'll go first.

The Sheldon Brown hit on Reggie Bush several years ago is an obvious choice.

More recently, the Kam Chancellor hit on Vernon Davis last season was so ****ing nasty. Violent. So awesome.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of Jeff George not Rich Gannon. That player was Leslie O'neal.

Yeah, it sounds like Shawn Barber had a hit on Gannon I can't seem to remember. I do drink fairly heavily during games.

1960; Chuck Bednarik destroys Frank Gifford on a pass play over the middle. KO'd Gifford and kept him out of football for that season AND the following season.

Hmmm... Favorite Chief hit would probably be a Greg Wesley hit on Tim Brown across the middle... It was either on Tim Brown or Jerry Rice (Raider).

There is also a great hit (ok it was dirty) that Willie Lanier had on Fred Bilitnekoff:
in the face with his tape wrapped fist on a pass play across the middle. At the time FB played with a single bar facemask. Just destroyed him. Face, nose and teeth everywhere. I think it was 71 or 72.

Goddam, Fred was not a pretty man by any means, but after that hit he looked a lot like Rocky from the movie Mask.

That was reg season. Sammie Knight was a starter...that was 2006 when we made the playoffs under Herm.

No reason to run that play, last play of the game and you're down 14pts.....that shot was well deserved and Knight gave that coaching staff a giant **** YOU.

That Reggie Bush hit from Sheldon Brown is the nastiest hit I've ever seen.
