...playoffs. With a possible first round matchup with a very beatable Colts team.

Maybe we find a mesh between solid offense and defense in these final four games and go on some magical run full of unicorns farting rainbows....and maybe we don't... Regardless of what we do once we're in the dance, you have to admit that a playoff appearance is a massive step for this franchise that was a disgrace one season ago.

I think the laws of probability would've shown that a playoff appearance isn't that big a deal and going to the Super Bowl once in 40 years shouldn't be that hard. If we ran computers to do our drafting and roster moves I bet we'd have had more success. Sorry I'm in a down mood after that game.

The past few Super Bowl teams have gone through these seemingly back breaking losing streaks during the season.

I am not saying the Chiefs will repeat that, but there is still lots of football left to be played and the Chiefs are still 9-3.

The truth is, we just played a top 5 team twice within three weeks and really had a fluke loss to San Diego.

We'll likely bounce back and look pretty good against a bad Redskins team, like we were doing all season, and then have the murderers row of @OAK, IND, and @SD.

Realistic expectation was a playoff shot from the outside. KC will get that, and build on it. Those with SB visions dancing in their heads are/were expecting too much... get real. Enjoy the fact that KC is now a good team striving to be great. Legit SB shots will come, over the next few years.

The last few weeks have been worrisome, no doubt.

You have to take it into context though. We played the most prolific offense in the history of the NFL twice in three weeks and that was sandwiched around a game against a near-elite QB in Philip Rivers.

Now we'll face ailing Skins, Raiders and Colts teams and a Chargers team that will likely be mathematically eliminated at that point in the season. Shit, we might be locked into the #5 seed by that final game against SD so it may not even matter.
