Is it worth waiting out?

The Jamaal Charles injury ****ed my team hardcore. I'm 2-2 and it's not looking good.

Should I stick it out or look to move for a better RB?

QB Ben Roethlisberger
QB Jay Cutler
QB Cam Newton

RB Felix Jones
RB Cedric Benson
RB Stevan Ridley
RB Brandon Jacobs
RB Marion Barber

WR Vincent Jackson
WR Mike Wallace
WR Denarius Moore
WR Titus Young
WR Mohammed Massaquoi

I'd be shocked if Ben missed time. Last I heard it was just a sprain. No break.

I think that team is ****ed, no offense...

Unless you can flip Newton to someone for a good RB2...and hope you can spot start Cutler/Roethlisberger in favorable matchups...

and then sell Vincent Jackson for a 2 for 1 where you get 2 good starters by giving up 1 great starter...

Like V Jax and Vernon Davis for a WR2 and Gronkowski (I'm sorry, I love this guy this year he gets 2-5 red zone targets every single game)...

so flip Newton for a RB or WR and trade V Jax (injury prone anyways) for a 2 for 1 (2 for 1's are ok at this point if you need to save a team)

otherwise you just have one shitty team (it happens, we all have a shitty team or two after week 4)

Why would I flip the #4 scoring player in our league for a RB2?

The only thing that I might have a chance to do....is get Hernandez. The guy who has him already has Jimmy Graham on his roster. If I can get Hernandez.....then I could flip Vernon Davis for a better RB.

because it's a 1 QB league! LOL

I'm not trying to be an asshole...your team is garbage. It just is...it happens in FFL after week 4.

That team isn't going anywhere unless you make aggressive moves. Like, I don't know, selling Cam Newton high? And in 1 QB leagues, Cam Newton isn't going to net anything more than a RB2 in return...and you still have two borderline QB1's on your roster you can play the matchups with...

that's why...

and no one is going to trade a RB2 for Vernon Davis.

I mean people ask how to improve their rosters but what I run into more than anything is people not looking to make fair deals...or any sort of risk. Vernon Davis has little to no value this year when there are 8-12 TE's just as good as him on a week to week basis.

It's like the CP league where I was getting offers like Helu and some shitty TE for Greg Jennings...

Someday people will learn that the only deals that'll happen are fair deals...(and the ones that aren't fair someone will make a thread on CP about...)

"Should I make this trade? I'm giving up DeAngelo Williams and Reggie Wayne and I'm getting Calvin Johnson. What do you guys think????"

I wish those threads were more like...

"Hey some dipshit gave me Megatron for DeAngelo and Reggie Wayne! Hahaha, everyone pat me on the back!"

I'd have more respect for those threads then the "please give me a compliment for taking advantage of a moron" threads...

I would rather flip Roethlisberger and Vernon Davis for a RB.

I'm keeping Cam Newton for next year because he's only going to cost me a 17th round pick.

I'd love to get McCoy off of his team.

I thought about offering him:

Roethlisberger/Cutler, Cedric Benson and Vernon Davis

for

McCoy and garbage

As a McCoy owner, I'd say you don't have the firepower to get him.

His team is 0-4 because he only has two good players - Shady and Megatron.

If I'm him, the only thing I'd even consider is Wallace AND VJ. But only if it's a 3-WR or flex league.

And that doesn't help you.

And that's why you wont improve your team...you can't just heap all of your garbage together and get lesean mccoy out of it...you have to give a little to get a return...
