I thought he was being used perfectly up until last night's game. Guy probably had 8-9 carries on the first two drives alone. Then he was still in with a handful of minutes left in the game..
Made absolutely no sense with a short week traveling to Oakland coming up. |

Ezekiel Elliot had around that many carries as a rookie and did just fine.
Hunt is a RB that needs to wear a D out and giving him less carries isn't going to make that happen. Injuries are gonna happen in a contact sport. Don't treat him like a pussy. Some of you guys are just gonna bitch no matter what Andy decides. |

I don't think it will be an every week thing at all. He will probably average about 20 a game for the most part.
Shit though, we have the team to win it all right now and for the next few years. May as well go for it while it's there and give him the ball plenty. |

Remember last year when Ware looked awesome the first 6 or so games and then didn't look quite the same in December? Yeah we don't that to happen to our rookie who has never played 16 games in a season before.
I'm okay with using him for about 30 carries when we need to but goddamn was it stupid getting more wear and tear on this kid when the game was over.

There was zero reason that he should have been in the game that late last night. Give the other Hunt some carries.

He should have finished at around 20 carries for the game. |

He had way too many carries last night early in the game that had little chance of success given the Texans defensive focus. I get trying to establish the run but West could easily absorb some of those carries up the middle that had little chance of success early in the game.

Hunt is at his best in the 4th quarter. What are you talking about?

In a close game, I have no problem with that many carries. Last night, it made absolutely no sense.

If they could of moved the chains we might still have Conley on the active roster. Sucks they couldn't get it done late, but I don't fault it. |
