I remember that Folks had a fair one. Maybe Betty's Fried Chicken. Oh also that old restaurant at the Carthage Airport - my Grandmother worked there as a hostess. [RIP Grammy Lee. We'll do 'Tickle Hill' again in your Caprice Classic in Heaven together]

The biggest problem, IMO, with Cinci chili is that they call it chili.

Yeah, both Skyline and Gold Star (basically) the same recipe. Yes, there is allspice and cloves but there is also cinnamon in the recipe - the last time I was through there (some 15 years ago) the guy doing the cooking was taking a smoke break and I asked "what the hell was in that stuff"

There are differences in Country and Chicken Fried Steak. I think most people are thinking Chicken looking at the pictures posted.

I only tried SC in a can - I didn't know what it was that I had bought.

Honestly the broth (if you even want to call it broth) resembled shitty Brunswick Stew flavor - which is very popular down here in GA. I never like Brunswick Stew at all!
