I'm glad the Eagles selected the smallish Jackson and not the taller and bigger Sweed

The weird thing is, these were the right picks from every angle. BPA and need both, no reaches, no "projects". All three can step in now, and all three have the potential to play at a high level for a long time. They were all no-brainers for us, and it just blows my mind that it's us drafting them and other teams letting them go for head-scratching selections.

If we don't move up and get Brohm, I really hope we take Josh Johnson in the fourth. Nice size (if lacking a tad in bulk), good football IQ with a big, accurate arm, can escape the pocket if need be... he really seems like an interesting prospect that I'd love to see us take a shot at. And after hopefully filling a handful of holes in the third, that would be the perfect time to look for a QBOTF.

yeah, it is awesome that each of these guys can play from day 1, imho...at key positions....LT/DT/CB...

no Bartees, no Wilsons, Siaviis....

I have no disagreement. But as far as pick, value, need, and projection you absolutely have to give the Chiefs an A+.

Production will be evaluated with time but this will be the best monday-after grade ever for the Chiefs.

I get the heart thing, but I'd still trade up now for Groves. I think it's too big a risk to assume that he'll fall much further, and I think he's too big an impact player at a position where we're a starter short.

But, hey, we may have someone else targetted, and he might not even be on our radar.
