In order to protect your child, you really need to give us your last name! The planet is the perfect intelligence level for beta testing what names children will make fun of!

I have exactly the opposite dilemma. We are expecting a daughter in April and the boy names would have been easy (James - after my wifes father who was shot down in Vietnam; Dominic - who was the Grandpa on my side of the family I resembled most.)
Last week we found out it is a girl and we don't know what to choose. I like Ashley and my wife likes Abigail. Runners up are Samantha and Georgia (which is great but too country for California.) My suggestions for you would be something traditonal. How about James Nicholas? Let me know what you are leaning toward and we'll vote. Also, put yourself in a juvenile state of mind and figure out what kind of jokes the kids will make of the name and avoid it. My last name starts with a Z so every first name that starts with an E (like Emily) is out of the question...I will not have a daughter who is EZ. |

My first boy is going to be Josh, I already have that decided. He's going to be a Chiefs fan as well.

The beatings will start in the incubator room when the other newborns find out his name is Gloster Kloster! I'll wait for the Springer episode in 19 years when your kid bum rushes you for naming him that! |
