It's amazing how ppl let preseason games influence their opinion. The Chiefs are a running team. They aren't going to run Charles and Hillis into the ground or show a wide array of their packages in the preseason. What you see now, is nothing like what the Chiefs will be in the season. To think the Chiefs will go 6-10 is just foolish. It's possible, but the smart money would be at least 9-7. This is not a bad team. I could easily see this team going 12-4 if it had schedules some of the league has.

I don't think it's 'buying into preseason bullshit' as much as seeing the same old Cassel on the field and seeing a bunch of franchise QBs on the schedule. It's one thing to see Tom Brady or Drew Brees dink and dunk down the field in the preseason, miss or completely ignore receivers, then say it's just the preseason playbook, they'll be ready... and it's another to see Matt Cassel do it, since he's been doing it here for 3 years in the regular season, too.

They could certainly be better than 2010, but it doesn't mean they'll win 11+ games with this year's schedule. No one is due anything in the NFL, but it would be pretty awesome if they could actually start 4-0, beat Brees, Manning twice, and be a home game vs Oakland away from being undefeated in the division.
