Need Denver hotel advice.
My daughter is getting married in March and for their honeymoon, they are taking the best man back to Colorado and then staying around there for a few days.
The best man lives in Highlands Ranch. She wants to a know a good place to stay near there that would be both fun and safe. Thanks in advance. |

We stay at the Embassy Suites in the Denver Tech Center once a year. We go to Denver twice a year. It is right across the street from Top Golf. About a half a mile from The ViewHouse, which is a great sports bar. And a couple of miles from some pretty good eating places. Shanahan's and Ocean Prime. Also a couple of miles away from a Mall. The Park Meadows Mall, which is kind of right on the northeast corner of the Highlands Ranch area you are referring too. Pretty nice area to be in.

It's Highlands Ranch, it's all safe and pretty. Take your pick of your favorite corporation.
Parker has the Red Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast. I just stayed at the Gaylord Rockies. Way far from Highlands Ranch but very nice. Only 1 pot shop down there. 😋

No no. I'm sure I could meet you in some sketchy parking lot.

The only hotel remotely close to there that I've set foot in is this Marriott.
https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotel...dows/overview/ It's a Marriott. A typical Joe Bob Marriott, so it's nice. And it's near the mall, which is probably the only thing you'd really do in Highlands Ranch. Your other option is to go to the far west side of Highlands Ranch (the opposite side of this hotel) so you can go find some foothills trails or something. But fun in Highlands Ranch? It's a safe place, but it's the very definition of suburban planned development. So you're not going to encounter much there that's unique.

I don't think they're planning on staying IN Highlands Ranch. She said something about wanting to see the gorge or something. I've never been to Colorado.
She'd prefer to stay at a Choice Hotel (Comfort Inn, Quality Inn, etc.) because she gets a discount. |

The gorge is a bit of a trip down south but worth the trip. She can get Whattaburger on the way now.

Assuming it's Royal Gorge, that's two hours away, so she'd probably just stay near I-25. There's not really another way there at this time of year that doesn't involve dying in a snowbank.
