Rausch's less than gay day with Apple...
So Snow Leopard is out-dated. It's time to step up to 10.7 or the world moves on without me. Even that is 3 releases behind. Every day that passes less and less is supported. There's a storm brewing here. Tornado sirens going off.

I decide to pick the worst time to upgrade my OS.

1: I go to the Apple site and no matter what I do it says 3 days to get a 6 year old OS. This can't be right. I open their chat option.

WTF?

What is this? Immediately I react to the picture of this guy and dislike him. Just as a reflex. Don't like. Very much dislike.

I brush it off and move on.

Now this $3it pisses me off. I thought for sure I was reading something wrong. Apple actually asks you to pay and then wait THREE ****ING DAYS to download something? I can order a physical disk that will get here in that amount of time.

I can go to the ****ing apple store and d/load 300 files filling a TB of space in a few hours but an OS takes three ****ing days? Why?

WHY? AN EMAIL?

WHY DOES IT TAKE 3 ****ING DAYS?

So "Ashanta" gives me a number and I call it. I'm then told that my Apple care plan expired 4 years ago and I can pay $20 to speak to a representative or hold and talk to a tech about my options. This hold time will be 18 minutes.
