Do you hate Mike Thompson (weathermen)? - Page 3

I am trying to watch American Idol tonight, and that camera attention grabbing Mike Thompson keeps interupting every 2 minutes to tell me about a storm on the missouri and Iowa border! Seriously, he must have cut in 5 times somtimes talking for like 15 minutes at a time just babbaling about this stupid storm. He even had the balls to cut in at the end so he could screw up the end of the show. I was so pissed. I was so glad the Bachelor was on channel 12 cause Busby is nice enough to flash in accross the bottom instead of cutting in to the show.

Unless it is an emergency, it should be against the law to cut into a show. I just feel they could wait to tell us about a bad widdle thunder storm during their own segment during the news.
I also hate it when they have that storm county tracker on the side of the tv. No sane person could possably know what the hell this thing even is trying to represent, yet it is this annoying blob blocking everything on the right of my TV.

When one of my shows are on, I could care less about what happens outside of my immediate house. If it is in the KC area, I can hear about it on the news, or read about it accross the bottom of my screen and watch my show at the same time, that way everybody is happy.

Hey KC2003, **** you!! Why don't you quit worrying about what happens to my friends house! And guess what *******? There was also a storm in pango pango. Do you want shows to be interupted to hear about them too? What, their lives don't mean as much???

AMERICAN IDOL isn't that damn important! PERIOD! Its a show that makes other people millionares! The weather? Well to me I would rather know what the hell is going on around me that could cause me problems. I guess i'm not as selfish as some. I mean god forbid they interupt your show to alert the area that a strong storm is coming through....

It is entertainment I enjoy watching it. I do not enjoy missing it and I do not enjoy Mike Thompson. Try to think of it on your terms. There you are watching the fishing channel or watching grass grow, when they interupt it to tell you there is NOT a tornado, I repeat for the next hour, NOT a tornado in your area.

If I am watching the grass grow I would be interested because it would affect the height of my grass. Will it affect the outcome of American Idol? I doubt it!

Hey you want to complain because you are too cheap to pay for cable? Take meteorology 101 at your local college and find out all you can for all I care. You can stick your head up a weathermans a$$ to get the weather, but wouldn't you rather just get the weather channel? I could just stick my head out the window and can do better than Mike Thompson.

I never said I didn't have cable. Apparently your just assuming to much. Continue with your assnine comments your only digging your own grave. American Idol is a fictional show that they call real life programing. The only reason they do the voting is to get the rating! If say all of us decided to pick the worst damn singer on the show do you think they would go through with it? I doubt it.
