Your most impressive team?

Mine is 7-0. It's a keeper league, PPR, point bonus league where you can trade draft picks for keepers in the offseason.

I had Brees (1), Rivers (2), Felix Jones (6), Dwayne Bowe (6) and Darren McFadden (8).

You lose a draft pick for the keeper you select. You cannot acquire a pick from an owner that is the same round as the player you trade...so I couldn't get a 1st round pick for Brees since the owner would need to use that 1st round pick to keep him.

So I went into the year loving Bradford and Stafford and decided, in basically a 2 QB league, I could get a ton of value out of my QB's.

So I traded Rivers (2) to the guy who had Vick (17) for his 1st round pick (meaning he'd keep Rivers 2 and Vick 17 and forfeit his 1st round pick as well, pretty good deal for both) and I traded Brees (1) for an owner's 3rd and 5th round pick. This was right before the Peyton Manning announcement and he was planning on fielding a team with Brees and Manning (two top 3 scorers the previous year)...

and then I kept Felix Jones (6) and Darren McFadden (8)...

So I loaded up with an extra 1st, 3rd and 5th while many of the owners had to give up their 1st and 2nd (or at least early picks) for their two keepers while my two keepers were both mid round picks...

So I stacked my team...I drafted Stafford, Bradford, Dwayne Bowe, Reggie Wayne, Steven Jackson, Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall, Tim Hightower, Jimmy Graham etc...

before week 1, an owner in my league wanted to trade Brady, and I knew he was as high on Felix and Bradford as I was...I offered him a deal, and he countered with Brady and Reggie Bush for Bradford, Steven Jackson and Felix Jones. I accepted.

After week 1 I watched the Chiefs and sold Dwayne Bowe (again) after a lousy start (again) and had no faith in him (again)...but I got a very nice return...Dwayne Bowe, James Starks, and Reggie Wayne (back when he had value) for Calvin Johnson.

and then, just two weeks ago (I hate RB's because they always get hurt, I always get elite receivers in a PPR and pick up RB scraps on the waivers)...I wanted to combo up Brady and Welker more than anything...so I traded the guy who has Rivers/Vick Darren McFadden and Brandon Marshall for Wes Welker and Ryan Torain. (And then McFadden gets hurt just two weeks later!)

So in a 12 team, keeper league, PPR bonus league...

I have this as my starting lineup:

QB: Tom Brady
RB: Ryan Torain
RB: Bernard Scott
RB/WR: Maurice Morris (James Jones on BYE)
WR: Dez Bryant
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Wes Welker
TE: Jimmy Graham
OP: Matthew Stafford

I have 5 of the top 11 scorers in a 12 team league. 7-0!!!

I may have missed it but do you have a limit on how many players you can keep?

2

so I have quite the conundrum next year with Brady, Stafford, Dez, Calvin, Welker and Graham...

and I doubt anyone trades with me during draft day next year since they know I can only keep 2

last year in this league I got 4th and won the overall points prize...#1 seed and lost after the BYE week in the playoffs and then the 3rd place game too...

Keeper League in 4th season

Brady w/ Cam Newton as backup

Fitzgerald & welker as WR 1 & 2, Wr 3 is my weakest point....

Ray Rice, Beanie Wells, Peyton Hillis (sucking this season), Shonn Greene (meh)

Hanson is my Kicker, Tony G is my TE

In this league we also have 1 each of a DL (DE or DL), LB, and S or DB

I have Polamalu, Charles Johnson, and Lawrence Timmons

I am 5-2 after going 5-0...

Its a yahoo league with PPR and custom defensive scoring....

We keep 6 players each season..
