J. Allen to start today

Jaws just announced on ESPN that Jared Allen will start at RDE over Holliday today (3 sacks in past two games).

I think this is a GOOD thing for our Div-1AA rookie.

that being said, I expect to see alot of Edge running off left tackle till he proves he can play/stop the run.
I'm having flashbacks of DT against Buffalo,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I heard that on ESPN radio.
I would be surprised if Allen isn't solid against the run.
He doesn't overpower his blocker, but he can use his speed and quickness to make plays.

Not only does Allen get the start Holliday got benched.

Colts at Chiefs: Cornerback Nick Harper is healthy and will start for the Colts. Vonnie Holliday was benched and Jared Allen will get start at right defensive end for the Chiefs. Cornerback Dexter McCleon is out with a hamstring injury.

Yeah BENCHED if that doesn't light a fire under his ass nothing will.

Shoulda sent him back to Green bay instead of R-Kal.
