The Chargers are for real

OK you can post all the ignorant Charger suck threads you want but man they show a lot of heart, class, and talent in every phase of the game.

This is a team that may have every cylinder popin along at exactly =the right time.

Congrats to Marty and to the Chargers. And Good luck!

Oustide of a couple of HUGH runs, I think the Chiefs D played well enough to win that game last night had the offense done their job.

I wasn't that impressed with the Chargers. I did however enjoy very much the ass whopping they game the Donks.

The Chiefs actually held San Diego to their second lowest scoring output of the season. The only game this season that the Chargers have scored less was when they lost 16-13 at Baltimore. Defense was not the problem yesterday. Our defense gave us plenty of opportunities to win.

Chargers are a good team..but in the POs they will lose..Rivers is too inconstant..they will not be able to just run LT and win..teams step-up in the POs....

Under impressed by Chargers....Thought they were much better, have blown out some teams, though they held on against the Faiders at home.

They aren't going anywhere.....

Our D gave up 85 yd. Run after the punt block debacle. A 14 pt swing.

Rivers is inconsistent. A real Solid D will take care of him and LT wont run wild. don't be Surprised if Baltimore comes into SD and wins.

They really lacked the ability to put us away, and Rivers obviously can't go Ryan Leaf on his offense in January. We gave the Chargers every chance to go up 3 posessions in the first quarter, and they couldn't get it done. They kept us in the game, and it'll be interesting to see what happens to them in the playoffs.

I think you pretty much throw out everything in a divisional game with playoff implications (KC fighting for their playoff lives, SD fighting to hang on to the #1 seed).

Rivers is finally starting to show some bad games. That's not surprising for a first year starting quarterback, it's to be expected.

I thought both defenses played pretty well. Obviously, the Chief's run D couldn't stop LT but they frustrated Rivers all night long.

I totally agree both teams played very well on defense. PR had an off day but over all it's all about the win.

Wow,
Are you guys kidding me with this. I was at the game last night and the Chiefs D was excellent. But under impressed Chargers? 12-2 guy in case you missed the score at the end 20-9? Held your team without a touchdown? Dillusional Chief Fans!

Your team is better than a 500 team. I would even go, as far to say, that you should be in the playoff hunt, but wow under impressed? What does it take to impress you? LT going for 500 yards, the Defense shutting you out and Herm Edwards giving you a lap dance at the half? Give me a break, you got beat by a better team.....recognize!

congratulations on your team. You have a right to be proud.
However, where have you been until now? You show up at the end to claim how wonderful your team is after the team who was most likely to beat you failed. Showing up this late in the game pounding your chest makes you an unwanted and asswipe troll.
Now be happy with your team and get.

Let us put this very nice and clear for you ignorant chiefs fans, the Bolts beat your team and held them to only 3 fg's! LT rushed for 199 yards and 2 TD's, Rivers had an off day but came clutch on that pass to VJ that pretty much sealed the deal for season in that matter! Rivers is a gamer and is only getting better (you clowns realize it's his first season starting right?) yet you pendejos are acting like sore little girls and running away unimpressed?

P.S.

#1 seed is very unimpressing!

It's almost like looking back at myself when I was young, didn't know any better, and had never seen a Marty chokejob in the playoffs.

The Chargers are obviously really good, but what he said is true.... the Chargers kept the Chiefs in the game and Rivers didn't have much composure. 20-9 should have been 42-9... like we all know, that's what Marty does in December & January... keeps both teams in the game.

And FWIW, I wouldn't hang your hat on 12-2... Indianapolis is only 1.5 games behind that, and Chicago is 12-2.... so that should tell you something.

I don't know what the expectations are in SD, but I agree that the window is going to be open for a few years, so there's no reason to panic if they don't make it to the SB this year (and with how much the NFC sucks, the AFC Championship will probably be the real SB).

There are no "for real" teams this year, in my opinion this is the most evenly matched year of football I can remember. There are only a handfull of teams out of playoffs with 2 weeks left.
