I get that, and I agree that he has some end of game issues that are a bit irritating to me personally, which are philosophical differences. But that's no different than Frank. Tactically, Frank was one of the worst Head Coaches I have ever seen. Watching a Frank Martin offense was, at times, like watching a monkey **** a football.

Actually, he was calling for a TO, but he started calling for it with just under 2 seconds left, when he realized that Angel was going to be trapped on the baseline.

Yup, don't confuse trying to call a timeout when the play broke down with calling it to set one up. And agreed, Bruce is light years better as a game day coach than Frank. Which is why it puzzles me that he doesn't set up a play at the end of games, because his set plays from timeouts succeed at a pretty high rate.

Yep. We were ****ed either way. If he get's the timeout, there's probably 1.5 seconds left with the ball under the basket. Really, at that point, our chances were no better than Angel's BS shot from the baseline. Worst case, Bruce should have called the TO once Angel got the ball across the timeline (6.5 seconds left), and we would have had time to run a play.

I was beyond livid that he just stood there watching that ****ing train wreck happen.

I've been proven wrong on the Bruce hire. No doubt about that.

Maybe we should return the convo to the epic butthurt from our li'l bro's in Lawrence over "DVD's, T-shirts, and court storming".

The flagship domination continues.

which is a wee bit late, and he implied he was calling for a TO the entire possession, which was at best disingenuous.

SSDD. They never tire of the same old argument. Have you seen the video of KU fans storming the court after the Ohio St. game though? THAT was epic.

I don't get that. First I don't understand why so many fans were at AFH watching a basketball game on TV in the first place.....but you're not comparing winning a Final Four game to beating Kansas at home for the 3rd time in 7 years?

I'm listening to him on the radio talking about Michael Sam, and I don't understand.his appeal.

He's the "best in the biz" - but his son is a dork.

KU fans keep him tops on the airwaves. Except when they try organizing boycotts of his show.

You enjoy his show, li'l smokey. It's ok to admit it here.
