I've already stated that I was happy with how Alex performed in the 2nd half of the season and the playoffs. All you've done since day one is suck him off and defend him no matter what. Even Maverick has called out Smith when he makes mistakes or has a so-so game. You can't do that.
Where did I say it meant something? All I said was he had the most yards out of all the players that played and had a game winning drive. Is none of that true?

Being optimistic about Alex is what I've been throughout the season and stated that he and the offense should be doing well by mid season due to the obvious limited time they've had together in their new system. So of course so-so games are expected. So with that said... what I expected happened, and what all the doubters expected didn't happen. I can be positive about something as meaningless as the pro bowl with one of my favorite 49ers of all time in Jerry Rice on the sideline cheering his team on. You simply can't be positive about anything.

THat pass to Alshon Jeffery in the Pro Bowl was a pretty clutch freaking throw lol. You guys get a solid WR in the draft/FA to go opposite of Bowe and you will see the offense continue to improve to consistency
