It has to be the Godfather on the strength of the first two, but the Mad Max trilogy is a favorite of mine. I like all three of them.

Zatoichi the blind swordsmen. I think there are more zatoichi movies than there are Bond films.
Ichi is a blind man in feudal Japan. he goes undercover as a masseuse to get in good with gang bosses so he can play in their gambling houses. he's very good at dice games because he can hear the rattle and determine which side lands up. when the gangsters catch him cheating or they try to cheat him, things get ugly. he uses a reverse draw technique with his (shikomi zue) cane sword because that is suited to a blind man.
