God lets hope so. Passes like that will get taken yard a good majority of the time.

Dude, honestly, this play looks unstoppable. Even if we had clones of James Hasty as our DB's, and Rod Woodson clones at safety, I don't think this is defensible?... Could be wrong.

I watch a lot of Big 10 football. A freakish athlete with a complete pea brain. If you think leadership and football smarts are unimportant, then he's your guy. He's basically Cam Newton but with half the athletic talent, and half the intelligence.

Pryor is fast, but he's more of a glider and he shies away from contact. He would rather run the ball out of bounds 5 yards before the sticks on 3rd down then take contact to get a first. Horribly inaccurate passer who throws a ball that nosedives into the ground.

He is the epitome of a QB who can only win if he's beating you with his legs. Because everything about his passing game sucks.

Hah, you must be an Ohio state fan too.

Well, from what I've seen - he doesn't get rattled under pressure like the Cassholes of the world. Throwing mechanics are definitely off, Tebow-esque even, but seems to have a much stronger arm.

Watching him last week, he moves like vick, but he's 6'6. Raiders are maybe going to win 6 games with their shoddy O-line and depth, but I kinda envy them, because the kid is ****ing electric when he's in. Me and my friend used to say Rex Grossman was the most exciting player in football because his every play seemed like either a perfect 50 yard bomb or a pick 6 or a fumble. Pryor should be the same, but with scrambles!

People say he cant throw- I dunno.. he threw some pretty nice strikes last week, that one to his TE for a TD, was perfect- threaded it and put the ball where only his TE could get it-

He reminds me a lot of Randall Cunningham

yeah, his passes don't seem that bad even though his delivery can be awkward. The week before, he had a perfect deep throw under pressure that the WR couldn't hang on to.

Definitely Cunningham like. Will have to catch more Raider games this year.

Nice interview with Pryor on NFL AM this morning. He was asked to compare himself to the read-option players in the league and he said they are more accurate then him with the ball. He identified the problem and has been trying to do everything in his power to get better at his weakness.

I'ld almost like the kid if I didn't despise Ohio State just slightly less than the Raiders.

Pryor has drastically improved his passing ability. He said something this off season about never really learning to pass the ball properly (throwing motion). Fairly crazy to think he hadn't been properly taught this from HS through college, and a few years in the pro's. I think he worked with Tom Brady's QB coach this past off season.

As far as him shying away from contact, I've seen zero evidence of that so far in his Raider career. Not sure he's the answer to the Raider QB problem long term, but if he continues to improve he might be. In any case, Pryor playing will at least make Raider football watchable in 2013.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The raiders are going to be historically bad unless Pryor puts on a show.
