Didn't Durant drop like 50 on us and still lose? I think they difference is that Smart has a better supporting cast with Brown and Nash.

True, he does, but Smart plays better defense than Durant ever did in college. He's everywhere on the court.

Wouldn't have been able to tell that in the last 5 minutes of that game. Butler's guards were getting all up in the paint whenever they wanted. They just couldn't finish at the rim.

We won't have that problem.

Sounds like you picked the wrong game to watch. OSU's defense is much better than KU's right now and Smart is by far the best defender on either team (at least until Embiid reaches his vast defensive potential).

Our defense in the first half last night was stifling. I think Wigs' ceiling on d is higher, too. We certainly did not play as well in the second half, though.

But seriously, did you see how easily Butler guards were penetrating? Mason would have torn that up. It's no secret that OSU's weakness is in the paint.
