XBox 360 Audio issue
Got kind of a small problem. Rather than searching online, I know a lot of you out know a lot about this crap. Here's the issue.

When we are playing movies, we get an annoying hummmmmmmmm noise in the background. Not loud enough to drown out the movie, but enough that I hear the damn thing through out.

Doesn't do it for games. Any idea's?

Actually, it's not the fan. That's a completely separate noise. This is just a loud hum coming from the TV. I'm guessing I probably have something hooked up incorrectly, but when I checked, it didn't seem like I did.

Definitely not plasma. Wal Mart big screen special. I recently moved all this to my newly finished basement. Never noticed the issue upstairs.

for sure sounds like a issue with one of your cables connecting to the sound system...make sure they are not too close to 110v power cords...and you may have to get shielded cables if that fails...you sound like it is picking up noise and bringing it into your amp.

I assume you're not using the optical connection, but rather the built-in RCA copper cables. Sounds like interference. Make especially sure it's not too close to the power supply of your TV, because the old rear projection TV's put out serious wattage.
